Hmm, having some trouble with the LJ cut today! Ah well. It's so cold outside! I love it, I get to wear my rather snazzy coat that I bought before it was ever chilly :] Things are going relatively well with me; had an assessment-y thing yesterday, where I had to put on a play that I had written. I think it went quite well, but you can never tell with that kind of thing. I have one last performance/presentation on Tuesday and then that's it! Going home in exactly a week! I cannot wait! Missing Mr W quite a lot; I think he is missing me too. Me and the girls are having a Christmas dinner next Friday and having a little gift exchange. [The maximum we are allowed to spend on each other has been set to £5 haha]. Talking of money, I found out a few days ago that I have been given a bursary of £1390 from the uni! Because my dad has been unemployed for almost a year now, I think Student Finance notified the uni and...tada! Should make it easier for rent and books and stuff.

As briefly mentioned, things with Mr W and I are going splendidly. We talk [either online/text/voice] everyday, which I love. I am so excited to be spending a whole month with him soon! Also, I will be meeting his parents over the holidays, and spending Boxing Day with them, and some of his other family!! Gaaah. So nervous and excited! Things with Mr L, however, are quite different. About a month ago, I told him in quite certain terms that we must simply remain as friends; the fact that we were kind of somewhere in the middle ish between friends and I don't even know what, was confusing us both. I thought at the time he had taken it quite well, but how wrong I was. A couple of days ago we had an argument online. To be honest, he has caused me so much stress over the years, I do not really have a problem with distancing myself from him. Part of me feels sad, though, as we do get on so well. But if he cannot see me as just a friend, I think we will have issues. Ah well. Funny how things turn out, isn't it?

Gaaah, update update UPDATE! Barracudas finished this time last week, which was kind of sad, but I am hugely glad not to be surrounded constantly with children/people who never do any work! Been doing little bits and pieces this week - went to a BBQ with my family on Saturday, and just chilled out on Sunday. Had a picnic with one of my best friends on Monday, where we had a really good chat [and Krispy Kremes!]. Tuesday, I had friends over for a BBQ, where we had sooo much food! I also went to the dentist on Tuesday, which was relatively uneventful. I had to have a tooth taken out last December [the day before my birthday, grr. One of the most painful experiences of my life!], the one next to my wisdom tooth. The dentist said all was in good condition, and she just gave me a regular clean that they do. Cost me £16, though!

Probably my biggest news to update is the fact that I went on a little date last night! Haha. With Mr W. Now, for a backstory. I know him through my ex, Mr B. [The one that is getting married, and who I went out with for two and a bit years]. Mr W contacted me on Facebook a few weeks ago, via a private message, saying the whole 'long time no speak' thing. Me and Mr W probably have more in common than me and my ex, Mr B, do. So, I responded to his message, and we got chatting. He is interested in photography too, and so we were giving each other con-crit on our photographs. Fast forward to a few days ago [bearing in mind we have been talking/texting each other quite a lot], we decide to go to the cinema together! He picked me up in his work van, and the condition of me getting into his car was to give him a custard cream, lol. [We were talking about biscuits before]. I did, and all was good. The conversation on the way to the cinema flowed very well, probably because we already knew a bit about each other. Anyway, he paid for my cinema ticket [insert giggling schoolgirl noises here] and we went in. About a quarter of the way through the film we started holding and stroking each other's hands. The film finished, and we went back into the van, and he drove me home. I was about to get out of the van, when he said that as I'd given him something to enter the van [the biscuit], I should also give him something to exit. I asked him what that could be, and then we kissed. Aww. Lol. It was very cute.

I'm not really sure how I feel about it all - just playing it cool, really. Going back to uni next Sunday, so not really sure what's going to happen with it all. Probably nothing, haha. Ah well, it was nice to go out on date :] Also, we did say that we should get together next week too, so who knows!

I'm going away to Nottingham this weekend. [Desperately need to pack, still!] I've also got a primary school reunio
n tonight, which could be interesting! Will try and update on Monday when I return from Notts, but we'll see how hungover I am, haha.
